Substance abuse is a multidimensional problem.
It affects individuals, family and the society.
It is a social, political, economic, cultural,
moral, spiritual and healthcare problem. It
is responsible for crime, violence, mental
disorders, family disintegration, etc. The
Commission wants to coordinate the existing
Centers and plans to encourage different Religious
Congregations/Dioceses to involve more in
this area of Prevention of the Substance Abuse
and Treatment and Rehabilitation of those
affected.
